My Ristinummi project

My Ristinummi is an ESF+ (European Social Fund Plus) funded project aimed at promoting and strengthening inclusion, non-discrimination, and the well-being of the local community in the Ristinummi area.

The project focuses on:

• helping unemployed people find paths back into working life.
• increasing the participation of people with an immigrant background and enhancing intercultural interaction.
• improving the work ability and functional capacity of the target group by offering new and more accessible services.

Kela’s Vocational rehabilitation: Work try-out and Job coaching

Have you faced challenges in your working life or studies? Have you thought about how you could improve your work ability to return to working life?

Kela’s vocational rehabilitation helps you find the right path and supports you in developing your career!

This type of rehabilitation may be for client whose health or overall situation is such that needs individual coaching to help find a job, occupation or education. The coach can also help client find gainful employment or become self-employed.

To get into rehabilitation, clients must fill in the application form for vocational rehabilitation. Submit the medical statement B if doctor has not already submitted it to Kela. If necessary, client’s doctor will  recommend rehabilitation, and write a statement on it (medical statement B). (Note! 16–29 years olds need not supply a doctor’s statement when you apply.) During rehabilitation, client may be entitled to a rehabilitation allowance and reimbursements of travel costs.

The rehabilitation is implemented as an individual service in accordance with your goals.

A work try-out is right for you if your goal is to put together a career plan, choose an education, or set concrete goals for your work.

Job coaching can be for you if you need support in finding employment and your goal is to get a paid job.
